We had a well laid out room with a dressing room and under-floor heating.

The breakfast was satisfying with a great variety of meals, and the room and bathroom were exceptionally nice, with soft bathrobes, shower caps, and fresh towels provided.

Comfortable stay overall! the room was amazing - had everything you need like a kettle, fridge, and glassware. the staff were friendly and helpful, from the front desk to all around. 😊.

The spa treatments at Fordoun were unique and invigorating, especially the Rasul Treatment and Nduku Nduku Massage. The menu offered a variety of comforting dishes, including crispy pork bites and heart-warming curries. The farm has a rich history dating back to the 1940s.

Such a shame the dining room had no ambiance and the staff seemed clueless. The room was not as luxurious as advertised, with cobwebs and an uncomfortable bed.

We recently stayed at Fordoun for a family wedding and were blown away by the stunning setting and friendly staff. The converted stone farm sheds and beautiful surroundings created a truly special atmosphere. The spa was a highlight, with excellent treatments and a peaceful ambiance. The meals were delicious, with fabulous coffee and great amenities in the room. We also loved the convenience of Fordoun as a halfway stop on our way to the south coast. a beautiful hotel with exceptional service.

The chalets at this hotel are spacious and situated in a beautiful natural setting. It feels like a 5-star home away from home. The spa facilities are top-notch, and the staff goes above and beyond to provide excellent service.

The rooms were a bit outdated and the beds were quite hard. However, overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely return for another holiday.

Our stay at Fordoun Hotel & Spa was absolutely spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. They were incredibly accommodating and made every request possible to ensure our celebration was perfect. The service provided by the staff was simply wonderful and made us feel truly cared for.

One minor issue we encountered was that the shower drain in our room was clogging, which made showering a bit awkward. Additionally, as vegetarian and pescatarian diners, we felt that there could have been more variety in the menu catered towards our dietary preferences.
